it's sudoku plus a little math - the puzzle is divided into groups of numbers and the numbers in each group have to add up to, or multiply to equal, etc, a number in one of the blocks (for example if it's 4+ the numbers have to add up to 4). you still have to use digits only once in a row or column but the math has to work along with the number placement. just one more element to add to the fun - or frustration.
