Because I am near and handy to pawn them off to. OOF!!!

He may eventually sell them or gift them to more people but production is still in the early stages. The eggs range from small to extra large and no real laying consistancy as of now. He has 35 chickens and twice this past week I heard he had 2 days over 20 eggs. One of those days was the 18 egg gift to me.

OMG Creme Brulee ... imagine the richest creamiest vanilla pudding you ever had and then put a caramelized sugar crust on top. YUM!!!!!!!!!! I dont have a kitchen torch though but from what I read online I can do the top under a broiler

i can't remember where i recently saw a photo of a kitchen torch and thought "people have this in their kitchen? it looks like something to do welding with!" i'd opt for the broiler myself... though i would imagine that people who make that sort of thing all the time would say it's not the same somehow.
